Malaysian youngsters express themselves through art and fashion. Fashion
trends among the millennials in Malaysia have been rising up for the past few
months.
Definition of E-Girls
Girls who dress up edgy with chains around their necks or waists and belts on. Their main colour is black or dark and they would normally have their nails painted black to resemble the grunge look. They will have their hair dyed mostly with bright colours (blue, green, red) and they are very famous on TikTok.
DEFINITION OF SOFT GIRLS
Girls who have headbands or small cute clips in their hair, wear adorable outfits: cute shirts and skirts mostly in soft pink or pastel colours. Their makeup is always glossy or glowing with soft highlighter. These girls run Instagram better than anyone.
E-GIRLS STARTER PACK
E in e-girls means electronic, hence why they look grudge and have chains around them and they are mainly inspired by anime and gaming with dark characters. You will almost never see a Malaysian e-girl in real life because she’ll just look like a normal young person who shops at a thrift shop in KL and is experimenting with her hair right now. But she exists on a screen, mediated, and expresses herself through TikTok.
SOFT GIRLS STARTER PACK
Soft girls make things so aesthetic and adorable and everybody would go uwu (cute) for them. They pretty much use soft emojis when they are texting or tweeting and they tend to cry over everything. They use squishy filters for their pictures or selfies on Instagram with small heart emojis. These girls take over Instagram forever!
